The Master’s Programme in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence is a full-time master’s programme jointly developed and taught in English. The programme offers specialized academic education in Cybersecurity, Cyberintelligence, and International Relations and Law for Cybersecurity. It corresponds to a regular study period of four semesters or two years, jointly carried out by four European Universities: Granada (Spain), Minho (Portugal), Padua (Italy), and Vilnius (Lithuania), through the use of physical mobility around these four universities, and students attending virtual, blended and local courses.

The two-year MA program in Mobility Studies at the University of Padua is driven by the assumption that the Humanities can play a crucial role in facing and understanding mobility in present society. This is something different than offering a focus uniquely on the circulation of people, objects, and ideas in given historical and geographical frameworks. The MA program in Mobility Studies offers a broader approach. It aims at providing students with a selection of specific tools in historical, geographical, anthropological and philological studies, in order to challenge the traditional understanding of human actions, in time and space. “Challenging forces” such as colonization, migration, exile, tourism are seen as factors that shape cultural identities and not only as phenomena of contamination of given cultures. Students will be immersed in an engaging process through which people, texts, images, artifacts, commodities, ideas are moved, translated, transformed, adapted and negotiated by different social actors, sometime in distant spatial contexts, in the past and in the present. The global and local scenarios call for new experts, trained in historical and cultural studies, but ready for political and social action today.

The Master’s Degree program in Energy Engineering provides solid skills necessary to operate with management and R&D functions in the sustainable production, distribution, and use of energy in its various forms (mechanical, thermal, electrical, chemical). Energy engineers will be able to interact with environmental, economic, and regulatory aspects. The programme also prepares professionals in the field of renewable sources and major energy conversions, with in-depth studies on combined plants, cogeneration and nuclear (fusion and fission) plants, energy in buildings, heating and cooling systems. The Programme has received the EUR-ACE accreditation (European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education ) that provides a set of standards to identify high-quality Engineering degree programmes in Europe and abroad.

Global Forestry (GLOFOR) is a two-year English language world-class Erasmus Mundus MSc programme that prepares graduates to deal with forestry’s tremendous contemporary challenges and potentials in dealing with the problems of biodiversity protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the development of a circular bio-economy.

MEDfOR is a two-year world-class Master Course Program. The MEDfOR emphasis is to prepare the future generation of engineers, managers, researchers, and teachers involved in Mediterranean forestry and natural resources management.

This Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Consulting trains the next generation of accounting professionals, controllers, financial analysts, and bankers, and lays the foundation for a successful career in finance and accounting, both in industrial firms and in financial institutions. The programme provides tools to solve complex business problems and contributes to the continuous updating of strategies, processes, investments and financing decisions according to the constraints and opportunities emerging in different sectors.

This Master’s degree provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage business processes sustainably and delivers a unique approach to the field of sustainable management combining sustainability with digital transformation and innovation. The topics covered also address some of the key issues regarding the globalisation of the competition and supply chains to equip students with the expertise to understand and face the sustainability transition.

The Master’s degree in Computer Engineering is designed to convey world-class competencies and abilities for mastering and developing advanced IT systems. The program provides strong methodological foundations as well as the practical skills required to deal with advanced applications in several areas of Computer Engineering.

The Master’s degree in Control Systems Engineering aims to train engineers with the ability to model, analyze, and control the behavior of a wide array of robotics, industrial, financial, biological, and information systems and networks. Particular emphasis is placed on learning and design methods that employ the best available data analysis, artificial intelligence, and optimization methods.

The Cybersecurity program focuses on the study of the design, development, and evaluation of secure computer systems, which are also capable of ensuring privacy for future ICT systems. The 2-year study program is characterized by an interdisciplinary offering that collects contributions from computer science, engineering, statistics, legal-economic and organizational sciences, along with specific knowledge of the major application domains of cyberattack protection. This Master’s degree provides for teaching only in English to facilitate integration into an international workplace, and the participation of foreign students and teachers. The purpose of the international Master’s programme in Cybersecurity is to train qualified graduates in the field of ICT security. This programme focuses on both the theoretical and practical aspects of cybersecurity, so the students can meet the growing demands of society.

This Master’s degree in Aerospace engineering program provides key skills to fulfill management, R&D, and production roles in the aerospace industry and in the many industries that provide services or supply components to it. The program offers both strong theoretical courses and applied research-oriented teachings, preparing students to develop advanced technologies for the society of the future. Students may choose one of the two curricula provided within the programme, focusing respectively on Space and Aeronautics technologies.

The subjects covered in the Master’s degree fully utilise the knowledge of the properties of biological systems acquired during the three-year undergraduate programme, delving into topics related to evolutionary mechanisms and dynamics, reproductive and adaptive strategies, and morpho-functional, genetic, and biomolecular plasticity in organism-environment relationships.

The Master’s degree in Sustainable Chemistry and Technologies for Circular Economy provides an extensive and highly interdisciplinary training program for professionals to be employed in companies or public bodies applying a circular economy model to production and services. Students will be trained on the whole value chain underlying a circular economy model, though a strong focus will be given chiefly to techno-scientific skills and competencies.
