7 International Relations Masters Degree Programs in Turkey

The Political Sciences and International Relations Department of the Institute of Social Sciences of the Istanbul Aydın University aims to equip the students with profound knowledge and wide-ranging views on modern global as well as domestic political and international problems. Students will have basic knowledge of the sources of different problems in both fields. Additionally, the participants of the program will obtain the required skills for the development and analysis of policies on the core subjects.

The MA in Political Science and International Relations program, with its nationally and internationally experienced faculty, aims at producing theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Political Science and International Relations. It seeks to contribute to academic knowledge in these fields by focusing on current debates on political theory and international relations theories, Turkish political life and Turkish foreign policy, developments in the global international system, and current changes in regional studies with special emphasis on the Middle East and the Balkans.

The M.A. Program in International Relations provides a rigorous approach to the study of global affairs with a particular emphasis on security and regional studies. Students are expected to develop substantive knowledge, theoretical perspectives and methodological skills necessary for conducting research and teaching in their field.

This program aims to increase the ability of students from international relations or other disciplines to analyze developments at the systemic, global, national, local and individual levels and to make predictions for the future. Thanks to courses focused on history, sociology, law, economy, politics and the region, students are also offered the opportunity to develop themselves according to their special interests and goals.
