The School Management Studies offers an MBA programme in Sustainable Development and Management which is open to both Indian and International students/professionals. The objective of the school is to train students who would not only be sensitive to current trends of the market for sustainable growth but also provide innovative solutions to the multifarious global sustainable growth but also innovate solutions to the multifarious global challenges of sustainability.

The program is offered by the School of Historical Studies (SHS). The School is a dynamic community of faculty members and graduate students, engaged in a systematic and rigorous inquiry into some of the fundamental questions that concern historical experiences within and beyond Asia. The School draws its inspiration from the glorious legacy of ancient Nālandā which served as a conduit for India’s vibrant intellectual linkages with the world for nearly a millennium. As is evident from the research profiles of its faculty, SHS is uniquely poised to train students in the cultural, religious, and intellectual history of India and other regions of Asia from a comparative and cross-cultural perspective.

The Master in World Literature enables students to gain a broad acquaintance with a gamut of literature across genres from around the world, transitions in the field of literary studies, literary and cultural texts, theories, and methodologies of study as well as undertake coursework with specific, closely defined topics on a variety of literature and cultures and through a variety of materials.

The School of Ecology and Environment Studies offers M.Sc. in Ecology and Environment Studies. It is the first truly interdisciplinary School in India, and possibly in the East Asian region, combining knowledge from the basic sciences, social sciences, and humanities to train environmental leaders of tomorrow.

The School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy & Comparative Religion offers an M.A. in Buddhist Studies, Philosophy & Comparative Religion, and an M.A. in Hindu Studies (Sanātana). The program in Buddhist Studies emphasizes a deep and distinctive study of Buddhist ideas and values and historically contextualizes those ideas about other proximal philosophical and religious traditions such as Vedic, Sankhya, Yoga, and Tantra.

Over the millennium, the ancient seers, and saints living across the river Sindhu made the intuitive realization of the eternal spiritual truth (Satya). They visualized the core principles that govern the world causing material as well as spiritual progress of every living being known as dharma.
