The MAHSR - Professional stream program is an interdisciplinary graduate program aimed at developing and enhancing leadership abilities, professional skills, and research capabilities in the realm of health services, regardless of whether you have a background in the healthcare industry or research experience.

The Master of Psychiatric Nursing program, a first of its kind in Canada, is designed for professionals who are seeking advanced practice roles in administration, clinical practice or education. Graduates will be prepared for leadership in psychiatric nursing and health care.

The Master of Health Sciences (MHSc) program focuses on providing students with opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills required to conduct high-quality research projects that culminate in a master's thesis or major project. As a research-based degree, students will combine course work, seminars and independent research to achieve the program's core objectives.

The MSc in Aging and Health has been designed to be completed at a distance by working professionals. The program is offered full-time (12 months), through a blended format of online learning and short onsite sessions in Kingston. The blended format of onsite intensives and online components couples networking and experiential opportunities with the flexibility of distance learning.

We provide the highest quality programs to enable our residents to become confident, successful anesthesiologists. In order to achieve this goal, we have developed a comprehensive five year program that is fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Given that our focus is to prepare trainees for careers in a variety of settings, we encourage them to be adaptable and practice in a realistic environment. While on call, our residents are available for any type of emergency, be it a call for the cardiac arrest or the trauma team (of which they are members) or to provide anesthetic services for all surgical procedures from obstetrics to cardiac to neonatal surgery.

The thesis-based degree program employs a multidisciplinary approach that focuses on the study of human performance from a scientific perspective. The program of study centres around eight content areas: adapted physical activity. When making course selections, students choose a discipline orientation that involves an in-depth study of Kinesiology in one or more of the above areas of content. Opportunities exist for students to take electives outside of our program.
