    The Master in Geological Sciences and Technologies opens the doors to careers in geological researches and applications, giving job opportunities in Italy and abroad. The master's degree program offers two curricula and includes differentiated specialistic courses in: Applied Geomorphology, Geophysics and Seismic Risk, Geology and Stratigraphy, Applied Geology and Hydrogeology, Applied Petrography, Environmental Geochemistry, Cultural Heritage and Geoarchaeology, GIS, Close and Remote Sensing. Thematic and interdisciplinary field trips, fundamental for geologists’ education, take place in Italy and they are economically supported with Departmental funds.

    Master in Water and Geological Risk Engineering Floods, storms, and landslides affect billions of people globally and, in a changing climate, water-induced hazards will continue to be a critical challenge for our society. This Master’s degree program aims to form new global leaders in hydrological, geological, and climate science and technology. Faculty from three Departments, ranking 26th in the world in Water Resources Research, provide interdisciplinary background and strong theoretical preparation.
