The Master of Engineering Management degree program is offered by the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences in partnership with the Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University. Master of Science (MSc) in Mining Engineering degree is a specialized graduate program offered by the School of Mining and Geosciences (SMG) Department of Mining Engineering at Nazarbayev University. Students are required to complete 120 ECTS credits, in 4 semesters, which satisfies requirements stipulated by the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) for Master’s Degrees.

Masters of Engineering and Technology can occupy leading positions of the highest and middle level in industrial enterprises of various industries; in industry research and design organizations; in factory laboratories; to conduct pedagogical activities in secondary vocational educational institutions.

Educational program - "Heat Power Engineering" aims to train a highly qualified specialist - Master in Heat Engineering, as a harmoniously formed personality, capable of being a leader, working in a team, acting, and winning in a competitive environment.

MSC in Chemical and Materials Engineering (MSc-ChME) Students are required to complete 120 ECTS credits, in 4 semesters, which satisfies the requirements stipulated by the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) for Master’s Degrees. The program is research-oriented and it is designed to provide the skills required to solve advanced technical problems in chemical and materials engineering through a combination of Thesis Research and advanced coursework. The small class size allows excellent student-instructor communication. Students are encouraged to contribute Thesis Research topics from their interests or previous work experience.
