10 Engineering Management Masters Degree Programs in China

This program allows students to complete the Master of Engineering (ME) and the Master of Engineering Management (MEM) in two years of full-time study. The course follows an integrated approach to professional practice through professional engineering subjects, subjects relating to the major, an independent graduate project (in the area of the major), and a set of electives.

This course has been developed by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and the UTS Business School to provide professional engineers with the advantages of a generalist Master of Business Administration alongside a focused program in engineering management. The course follows an integrated approach to professional practice through engineering management/professional engineering subjects, business administration subjects, and an independent project in engineering management.

This course provides an opportunity at master's level for professional engineers to deepen the knowledge and skills gained in their undergraduate studies while expanding their managerial and professional engineering knowledge. This course is designed to enable engineers and other technical specialists to take a leadership role in the field of environmental engineering and management. The course deals with the broad aspects of environmental management relevant to practising professionals in engineering science, planning, architecture, law, surveying, health and building. Engineers, scientists, town planners and other professionals working in this field have a compelling duty to ensure that the adverse effects of development on the total environment are minimised. The duration of the course is one-and-a-half years; however, applicants with a recognised bachelor's degree in engineering or the natural and physical sciences are eligible for recognition of prior learning of up to four subjects and are thus able to complete the course in one year on a full-time basis.

The subject aims to cultivate senior professionals in management science and engineering. Specific requirements include: master the basic theory of Marxism, set up the scientific world view, insist on the party's basic line, love the motherland (...).

This course provides an opportunity at master's level for professional engineers to extend in depth and breadth the knowledge and skills gained in their undergraduate studies. The course is an extension of the traditional Master of Engineering (C04271) in that it also includes a sub-major in one of the fields offered as majors. The course follows an integrated approach to professional practice through professional engineering subjects, subjects relating to the major and sub-major, an independent project in at least one field of engineering, and a set of electives.

This course provides an opportunity at master's level for technical specialists and professional engineers who have completed either a three-year Bachelor of Technology or a four-year Bachelor of Engineering to graduate with an Engineers Australia-accredited, professional engineering qualification. The course enables students to deepen knowledge and expertise in their field of specialisation to be ready to practise in engineering. The Master of Professional Engineering is designed to incorporate an integrated approach to professional engineering practice through professional engineering subjects, major-specific subjects, an independent project, and engineering practice stream. Students who have completed a Bachelor of Engineering that is accredited by Engineers Australia should apply for the Master of Engineering (C04271) or Master of Engineering (Extension) (C04277).

The Master of Engineering Management (MEM) is an opportunity for engineers, technical specialists and non-technical professionals to build and stretch their managerial skills and integrate their business and technical knowledge. The duration of this course is one and a half years; however, applicants with a recognised bachelor's degree are eligible for recognition of prior learning of up to four subjects and are thus able to complete the course in one year on a full-time basis.
