With the beginning of the direction chaired by Dr. Fause Attie from April 1, 1999, fundamental changes were implemented in the teaching system of the National Institute of Cardiology "Ignacio Chávez" in order to adapt the teaching systems to the time that the Institute is living, and thus catch up with the changes that have undergone dizzyingly in medicine in recent years.
