The Master's in Automotive Engineering is an official degree approved by the Council of Ministers that has been taught since the 2013/14 academic year. It is an evolution of the Master in Technologies and Processes of the Automotive Industry, taught from the academic year 2008/09 to 2012/13.

The curriculum of the program was designed to educate you on the methodology for the development of green vehicles, that can be equipped with hybrid powertrains or running on alternative fuels, and exploration of scientific engineering solutions for improved performance of powertrains.

This one-year full-time programme aims to train highly qualified professionals in race engineering, through a variety of teaching activities. The course includes both theoretical and practical teaching, as well as workshops, and a 6-month internship in industry. Thanks to the partnerships with VI-Grade, ASC (Automotive Safety Centre), Skydrive, and MSC Software, among others, students have a wealth of opportunities to develop their knowledge and skill in managing all aspects of racing cars.

The curriculum in Autonomous Driving Engineering (ADE) is part of the Master’s Degree Course in Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles (EEIV). This curriculum is designed for students who want to become electronic engineers with a solid knowledge of the methods and tools used in the development of intelligent transportation systems.

MSc in Automotive Engineering The objective of the program, English-taught and developed into four different pathways, is to provide students with competence and skills for the design of vehicles, their components, and their methods and production processes. The Master in Motorsport, Mobility and Safety (M2S) allows engineering skills to be completed with specific training in the automotive safety sector, in new propulsion systems and aspects linked to sustainable mobility with special emphasis on the world of competition.

The Curriculum in Advanced Powertrain (AP) is part of the Master’s Degree Course in Advanced Automotive Engineering (AAE). This specific program features two different specializations that provide an in-depth knowledge of powertrain design, production, planning and control of advanced powertrains both electric and endothermic.

The Curriculum in Racing Car Design (RCD) is part of the Master’s Degree Course in Advanced Automotive Engineering (AAE) and it provides a high level of training on the dynamics of the vehicle and on the most innovative materials related to the design of racing cars.
