This program in MSc in Architectural Engineering trains students to apply their complex knowledge in the areas of architecture and urban planning, as well as in the multi-faceted field of environment formation in general (architectural design, town and country planning, preservation of built heritage, structural design, construction work, management, and administration tasks, consulting with authorities, teaching, etc.) In addition, students are prepared for their professional planning license once they have gained the prerequisite practical experience as required by the relevant regulations. The final complex design project and the diploma design project are a summary, a synthesis of their studies, and serve as a final assessment of their acquired knowledge.

The program in MA in Interior and Spatial design trains interior design artists to implement aesthetic, functional, and psychological aspects of a given space or space. Graduates will possess essential technical knowledge, and artistic skills, and have an understanding and thorough knowledge of the design thought process and their importance during the planning procedure. They also acquire primary manufacturing-, production processes, and their conditions. Students gain both practical and professional experiences throughout the course of their studies and are prepared to pursue their education in the doctoral program if they wish.

The course in MSc in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineer) is aimed at people interested in building- structures, it is open to structural engineers, architects and civil engineers with a bachelor's degree or a degree in a related field of study. The programme is based on the Faculty’s research of structural science and aims to provide practical and theoretical training in structural engineering.

The course content focuses on developing experimental technique skills and computer usage and reflects current trends in structural analysis and design. The training covers research methods for engineers, construction project management, numerical methods, etc. Optional modules are also offered in the field of structural engineering, such as the design in steel and concrete, structures and geo-technics, and geotechnical engineering.

Our MSc is especially for bachelor graduates who want to advance their personal and professional development in the field of architectural design. The program leads to an Óbuda University degree, accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee and linked to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The stringent quality criteria applied by the Accreditation Committee are based on European standards for higher education. The aim of the training is to prepare students for being able to apply their complex knowledge in the fields of environmental development in general, and architecture in particular. Significant emphasis is laid on theoretical foundations and on design training, respectively, at a high standard. Creative and technical fields are well balanced, with developing various skills in visual arts and engineering. The academic staff of the Faculty has proven expertise in Central-Eastern European Countries, as well as inside and outside the European region. This offers our candidates the possibility to discuss and initiate programs and projects in their respective native countries.
