Trillium College’s Massage Therapy program introduces you to a variety of Swedish massage techniques manipulation techniques to treat stress, pain, and other physical conditions or disorders. You will develop the specialized knowledge and skills to systematically assess clients’ needs, formulate comprehensive clinical impressions, develop specific treatment plans and evaluate clients’ progress and treatment outcomes. Our curriculum emphasizes client-focused care and is designed to facilitate your growth as a health care professional in order to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). A diploma in Massage Therapy can open the door to a new career where you can work for yourself or an employer – the choice is yours! The program at Trillium College will provide you with in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and allow you the options to offer both relaxing massage therapy to clients or address musculature and conditions that can be remedied through massage. The Massage Therapy program is designed to develop the specialized knowledge, skills, and judgment necessary for conducting a systematic client assessment, formulating a complete clinical impression, and developing a specific treatment plan. Students learn to perform safe, competent, and comprehensive massage therapy while constantly evaluating the outcome and consulting with the client.

American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM) has been teaching holistic skills in Massage Therapy since 1994, making our program the longest-running massage program in Central Ohio. AIAM’s program specializes in teaching neuromuscular therapy – a skill employers seek when hiring Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs)

Massage Therapy program prepares students for entry-level massage therapist positions to provide relief and improved health and well-being to clients through the application of manual techniques for manipulating skin, muscles, and connective tissues. We are the only Massage Therapy school in the country with over 100 years of continuous experience educating and training students to become professionally licensed massage therapists.

Our Massage Therapy program is developed with a strong focus on anatomy and physiology, theory and practices, assessment and introductions to a variety of massage modalities.

You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and neurology, along with intensive training in massage therapy techniques to provide the best treatment and prevention options for your clients.

Our 2200 Hour Massage Therapy Program has been approved and recognized by Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and is under the Private Vocational Training Act of Alberta. It is a two-year full-time program.

The Hospital-Based Massage Therapy Course at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, offers a unique opportunity for professional massage therapists to enhance their skills and advance their practice in the acute care hospital setting.

The Massage Therapy Ontario College Advanced Diploma program provides you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for the profession. Graduates from this program are able to use their judgment to provide safe, competent, and ethical care as entry-to-practice massage therapists.
