A graduate of the study program Measurement and Quality Management in Mechanical Engineering in the study field Mechanical Engineering can define safety and operational regulations, procedures for ensuring health protection at work, technical and quality standards, in particular with a focus on mechanical engineering; and characterize technical documentation in mechanical engineering, documentation of quality management systems, including procedures for ensuring the quality of measurements and tests, documentation defining the characteristics of measuring instruments and their suitability for the intended use

The PhD programme in Management at the Faculty of Management and Business, University of Prešov, is designed to support the continuous advancement of research, teaching, and academic skills throughout the standard duration of 4 years (full-time) or 5 years (part-time).

Our Master's (Mgr.) programme in Management prepares students to lead in the global economy. This two-year, internationally oriented programme equips students with advanced knowledge in economics and management, allowing them to analyse macroeconomic and microeconomic challenges, design and implement solutions, and evaluate the impact of economic and managerial decisions.

Our Bachelor in Management (Bc.) programme prepares you to acquire relevant professional knowledge in the field of economics and management, to gain and use methods in the subject area, to acquire the ability to conceptually solve elementary and advanced problems in the field in the dynamic development of knowledge and to present the results. The aim of the study programme is to relate the needs of the labour market, practice and prospective employers of graduates.

A graduate of the study program Manufacturing Systems and Quality Management knows: determine the technical parameters of machines, equipment and their components required for production, define quality management in mechanical engineering, at the current level of knowledge to systematically and comprehensively solve material, technological and organizational issues in the rationalization, modernization and design of new engineering processes and systems.

The Faculty of Management and Business at the University of Prešov is pleased to offer an academically rigorous and forward-looking Master’s degree programme: Economy and Management in Sustainable Innovative Industry. Delivered entirely in English, the programme is designed to equip students with the comprehensive knowledge and practical competences required to navigate and lead the transition toward sustainability and innovation in modern industrial and business environments.

The main condition to graduate and to obtain the bachelor degree is to pass the state examination. Only students who submitted the bachelor thesis for the defence and successfully completed all the compulsory courses and mandatory selective courses can apply for the state examination. The bachelor thesis defence is the main part of the state examination. At FM CU the examination from the Management and from Economics and Finance is also part of the state exams at bachelor level.

The bachelor study program, Management, is accredited in the field of study - Management and provides theoretical and practical training for junior manager position.

The graduate of the Bachelor programme “Business Economics and Management” is able to make use of the acquired knowledge in economics, quantitative methods, law, management and marketing. Their knowledge is extended in business planning, production management, international trade, financial analysis and entrepreneurship in small and medium-sized enterprises.

The programme "Marketing Management of Business" seeks to develop students’ competence in exact analytical methods, abilities to identify factors determining the development of a business and its environment, to identify a market opportunity, to estimate the threats and the potential consequences for the business, to manage the offer so as to seize the opportunity.

As a graduate, you will be able to use computer technology with the support of software applications, apply information systems in construction including GIS and BIM systems and their applications, manage a team of workers in the construction of complex civil structures and buildings, transport structures, prepare and manage the production of building components, manage the construction company.
