4 Spatial Science MA Degree Programs

The program in MA in Interior and Spatial design trains interior design artists to implement aesthetic, functional, and psychological aspects of a given space or space. Graduates will possess essential technical knowledge, and artistic skills, and have an understanding and thorough knowledge of the design thought process and their importance during the planning procedure. They also acquire primary manufacturing-, production processes, and their conditions. Students gain both practical and professional experiences throughout the course of their studies and are prepared to pursue their education in the doctoral program if they wish.

The MA in Geography: Spatial Justice is designed for students who wish to deepen their understanding of critical geographical ideas and themes and apply this knowledge to the most pressing societal and environmental challenges of the 21st century. Students will be empowered to think geographically, to develop their critical thinking skills, undertake independent research in an area of specialist interest, and significantly enhance their professional skills. 

The AA Interprofessional Studio (AAIS) offers 12-month MA or 18-month MFA options and explores practices of spatial performance and design that reach beyond standard definitions of architecture and performance. Spatial performance uses live projects and engagement with networks spanning different disciplines to explore how creative practitioners work and how design functions in specific contexts. The studio fosters a learning environment that encourages students to build connections within and between different creative fields.

During our MA in New Media Design, you’ll learn how to analyze and locate spatial, moving, and non-linear forms of expression and how to apply them to your spatial concepts. You’ll be in the perfect position to develop complex and advanced design and technological solutions for challenges of a multi-disciplinary nature thanks to the sound media competence you’ll have as a graduate.
