NIE offers graduate studies by research leading to the degree of Master of Arts (MA) in line with the increasing emphasis on research in the areas of Arts and Education.

The goal of this program is to provide students with knowledge about the multifaceted nature of intercultural issues, multi/interculturalism, and social integration by means of a multidisciplinary approach, which includes psychology, education, sociology, and anthropology. The program is both theory-based and practice-oriented. Courses are based on the latest research in relevant fields, and students are given opportunities to test and apply their theoretical knowledge in practical situations. Approximately half of the program consists of training, seminars, and field work.

This degree program meets the needs of good governance required to implement and evaluate policies that effectively solve diverse public problems such as environmental damage, public health, education, national and regional development, welfare reform, and international security.

The Master of Arts in Social Science (MASS) is the first program of its kind in the University System of Georgia. Unlike traditional Master of Arts programs, which limit the number of courses students can take outside their home discipline, the Master of Arts in Social Science is designed to take advantage of an array of graduate seminars from the social sciences.

The MA has been developed to offer you the opportunity to engage with a number of subjects relevant to the voluntary and public sectors in the West Midlands area and beyond.  It therefore provides a base for direct employment entry or enrolment onto the university’s PhD programme – or both.  By way of example, one student on the MA is likely to move into full time employment in an addiction rehabilitation unit in Wolverhampton, whilst another has recently submitted a proposal for doctorate research on rural migration. 

The School of Social Innovation of the Faculty of Human Sciences at Saint Paul University offers a Master of Arts in Social Innovation. The MA in Social Innovation provides a space for research and reflection to understand the dynamics and multiple impacts of social innovations, in order to assess and structure them more efficiently.

The specialized modules offered in this MA Serious and Violent Crime course delve into the various forms of serious and violent crime. With a practical approach, you will acquire the necessary expertise, skills, and qualities to take on leadership roles in this field.
