For those ready to tackle it, the Master of Arts in Religion (MAR) degree invites you to study the world as it is shaped by religious inheritances, ideas, passions, and ways of life.

EUCLID offers two closely related programs associated with its recognized expertise and intergovernmental mandate in the field interfaith studies and diplomacy.

The Master of Arts in Religious Studies Program (M.A.R.S) is a graduate degree designed to help Christian leaders attain a degree that is focused on their unique goals and interests. This degree equips emerging leaders to serve well within the local church and the marketplace. Built on a core of Bible and Theology, this flexible interdisciplinary degree allows students to pursue training in their areas of interest.

The Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree aims to satisfy five primary objectives: biblical exposition, spiritual development, theological integration, ministry preparation, and Christian worldview. The Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) provides students with an interdisciplinary knowledge of biblical studies, church history, and theology.

The Master of Arts in Bible Translation (MABT) provides students with an interdisciplinary knowledge of translation studies, biblical studies, and theology. It prepares students to engage in research and analysis informed by those disciplines and contributes to the advance of the church, global missions, and vernacular Bible language or missionary contexts and their work in translation.

Our Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion programs allow students to cultivate the knowledge, skills, and wisdom to respond to existential threats and evolutionary challenges from integral and transdisciplinary perspectives. We prepare our students to create new careers, cultivate change, and become pioneers of hope. In our programs, students develop deep familiarity with at least one religious tradition and specific ecological issue, and gain an understanding of the challenges – and opportunities – inherent to studying religion and ecology together.

The Master of Arts in Religion (34 graduate semester hours) at Community of Christ Seminary is designed for bi-vocational ministers who want to deepen their understanding of faith and ministry and transform the community, as well as for professional ministers preparing to lead others in discipleship and mission. It builds a strong foundation of formation in Christian scripture, tradition and mission and offers three concentrations for focused development: Christian Theology, Spiritual Leadership, Peace and Justice. This degree provides a strong academic foundation in biblical studies, Christian history, and theology, leadership, peace, and justice. These subjects offer essential preparation for Christian ministry and/or doctoral study in religion.

This program is designed to provide the student with an in-depth study of the Scriptures on a graduate level.

Master of Arts in Apologetics - Cultural Apologetics Emphasis - Online focuses on integrating imaginative and rational defense of the faith, studying a range of issues in philosophy, literature, and the arts, and cultural issues in order to analyze and engage with culture at both the intellectual and popular level (including creative work).

Master of Arts in Apologetics - Philosophical Apologetics Emphasis - Online takes the classical propositional approach, and goes in-depth into the philosophical issues. Students in either track of the MAA have the option to take electives from the other track. The tracks share a core of Apologetics Communication and Classical Apologetics.
