5 Psychology MA Degree Programs

This program is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the principles of psychology in an intimate and supportive learning environment. With a strong clinical emphasis, courses are focused on how the art and science of psychology can be applied to further our understanding of human behavior and the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental and emotional disorders.

Our conversion course in Psychology is designed to prepare and upgrade students with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology-related disciplines (e.g. BSc in Biology, Social Sciences, Sociology).

The Master’s in General Psychology program at American International College prepares students for doctoral or other graduate level study in psychology and related fields. The 30 credit program provides instruction in core competency areas but also allows students to structure a program that meets their interests.

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at USEK, founded in 2019, is the result of the merge of the Faculty of Letters, Philosophy and Humanities, Sciences and Music and is an academic reengineering process decided in 2017. The Faculty embraces a variety of programs supporting research, teaching, and students’ learning experience in Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, and Natural Sciences, including Mathematics, Computing, and Nutrition.

The programme joins some of the most reputable contemporary thinkers in psychoanalysis, to introduce different positions in the psychoanalytic landscape. Its aim is to create a dialogue between different understandings of psychoanalysis, apply psychoanalysis to problems beyond the individual subject, and develop models of understanding the human mind in its interaction with the world beyond single psychoanalytic positions.
