This joint Master’s degree program in international relations is carried out within the framework of the VNDREAM network, which consists of Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland), University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), University of Pecs (Hungary) and Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia). Industrial design is the youngest of the practical disciplines. In Poland, the industrial design grew out of the tradition of practical arts, establishing itself as an independent field in the late 1970s. Thus, by definition, industrial design is the design of the form and features of products intended to be marketed. Failure to recognize its uniqueness as compared to the other creative disciplines, too often leads to it being described as one of the practical arts and crafts, and consequently to it being wrongly understood by society in general.

Industrial design training combines a creative and humanities education with technical knowledge. The students are exposed to specific design tasks, which prepare them for cooperation with the industrial world and for independent design work. The Academy cooperates with many industrial plants, which enables the design concepts developed during the courses to evolve into prototypes and be presented to prospective manufacturers at industry exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

MA programs provide students with knowledge of Business Administration and Economics. The degree is awarded on the basis of core and specialized courses.

The Second-Cycle Management Studies offered in English is a full-time four-term program. Having completed term 1, the student is requested to choose between two specializations: Small and Medium Enterprise Management or Management in Logistics. The studies end with an MA degree.

Second-cycle studies in the field of Pedagogy are conducted on a practical profile, which means that the program of studies, in addition to theoretical preparation, provides the opportunity to gain practical experience. The offer of the Institute includes, among others: the appropriate size and form of mid-year and continuous internships, a wide range of classes in the form of lectures, exercises, workshops, laboratories, professionally equipped teaching facilities, a well-equipped institute library, support for student initiatives (research clubs, competitions, cultural events and sports).

Thanks to the education in the field of natural and social sciences, as well as mastering the skills of teaching movement and body improvement, the graduate obtains qualifications that enable competent influence of physical means on the body and social means on the personality in order to meet the immediate needs of pupils in the field of somatic and motor development and to prepare them. to care for health, fitness and body structure.

The 2-year period of studies includes: calculus, complex and functional analysis, logic, algebra and number theory, topology, differential equations, stochastic processes, and computational mathematics, i.e., packages Mathematic Statistica. Students are prepared to continue their studies to obtain a doctorate.

Graduates of this course are familiar with the fundamentals of pedagogy, psychology, philosophy, and sociology. So much is needed to understand all the processes related to education, learning, teaching, mentoring, and diagnosis of educational processes.

It offers a comprehensive study programme which includes both theoretical and practical subjects preparing the future graduate to work as an interior architect. The study programme includes a gradual introduction to issues related to the creation of interior architecture, starting with the basics of interior design, ergonomics, principles of designing spatial forms and compositions, creation of functional systems and ending with specialised design of specific spaces: residential, service and public utility, as well as design of trade fair stands and exhibition interiors. During the course of study, the student acquires specialist knowledge for his/her future profession, and also expands this knowledge with a basis of knowledge in the field of architecture, which is strongly linked to interior design. In order to be a fully educated specialist, the student supplements his/her knowledge with information on the history of art and architecture, art classes and material science.

Studies launched in the 2014/2015 academic year in English in the field of Management with a specialization in International Management (currently: International Business; IB) are addressed to all those students who „reach higher” and are interested in acquiring business knowledge and skills together with raising language competences.

Graduate studies in National Security are a field of study that allows preparing human resources at various levels of administration and state services to implement tasks related to state security. Education includes knowledge in the legal basis of security, security policy, crisis management, logistics in crises, and international political and military relations.
