The Master of Arts in Multimedia Arts and Design – the first program of its kind recently set up in central/southern Italy – succeeds in fully embracing this complex area of studies, addressing the increasingly central role played by digital technologies and techniques in the design of multimedia spaces and works.

The purpose of the program is to educate and train researchers who can contribute to the development of knowledge at an advanced level. The Master’s degree is earned by completing a single advanced research project, culminating in the production and acceptance of a dissertation.

The Media and Development MA is an interdisciplinary course that teaches main theories, concepts, case studies and practical media skills around the theme of media and development and its implications for less developed countries. The course will provide you with a unique blend of theory and practice teaching, aimed at deepening your knowledge of the history of communications within the development process of emerging economies.

The New Media Journalism master of arts degree program teaches students how to apply traditional journalistic methods to interactive media, with a focus on how current technologies can enhance both narrative structure and visual storytelling. Coursework ranges from concepts used in digital newsroom management and multimedia reporting to legal and ethical aspects of the digital domain.

The second training cycle in Art, Design and Multimedia is assumed as a current structured training proposal based on the realization of the importance of visual culture and information and communication technologies in contemporary reality. On the other hand the Court finds that technological progress has contributed to a considerable increase in the use of the image in all fields. The photo and digital video, specialized software for image work, are now on a par with conventional media and new media adopted by contemporary creators, compelling tools in the materialization of ideas in the context of artistic creation, design, advertising.

Touro GST's Master of Arts in Web and Multimedia Design (WMM) Program teaches from a user-centered design approach. We train future UX/UI designers, product designers, and creative professionals to leverage research techniques and design thinking to create meaningful experiences. The classes are mostly hands-on. Students learn how to create digital products using design, video and audio, animation, prototypes, and everything that supports a professional designer in the industry.
