The course combines input and tuition from leading games industry experts in design, art, production, and audio with NFTS expertise in disciplines including screenwriting, animation, sound design and composition, to pioneer unique and innovative games.

This Digital Fashion course offers a unique route for creatives interested in the digital future of fashion. It will enable you, through practice-led research and new sustainable methods of design and fabrication, to reach a new frontier of fashion design. Fashion is a dynamic field with trends currently pointing to significant innovations in digital design and production. These facilitate the creation of multiple digital and physical products from both fashionable and functional briefs. The emergence of additive manufacturing as a new method for manufacturing, along with the increasing acceptance of smart and wearable tech, will allow students with technical abilities and/or understanding of traditional fashion design and pattern cutting skills to push their ideas into new terrain. Students will use 3D programs, such as CLO 3D, which allows an intuitive method of design, as well as scanners and laser cutters in innovative ways throughout the modules.

The Master of Graphic Arts program focuses on developing professionals who seek to successfully excel in the field of digital graphic design. It trains them in the use of various media that provide them with a specialization in effective visual communication. This specialty will allow them to set successful guidelines and set precedents within digital graphic design.

MA Digital Fashion Innovation encourages and supports designers to explore and work with advanced digital technologies, interrogate and question current fashion practice and challenge the ideals around how a product is realised. Fashion is currently recognised as one of the most damaging industries on the planet, abusing natural resources, dumping masses of redundant waste and product into landfill and flushing tonnes of chemicals into the oceans on a daily basis. It is therefore critical the practice of a designer acknowledges and attempts to address and integrate a conscious and considered approach to both the design and realisation of a fashion product.
