The MA in Theology, Bible, and the Arts offers a range of modules that allow you to study both historical and contemporary theological ideas, the content, significance, and legacy of the Bible, and the diverse artistic responses to religious subjects and themes that have left their mark on the world. You will also be asked to explore one topic in greater detail through your dissertation.

Whether you're studying for an MA, PG Cert or PG Dip, you'll study one core module: Christian Spiritual Traditions East and West . PG Dip and MA students select three optional modules. You'll select one 30-credit module from: Children’s Spirituality; Christian Spirituality in the Contemporary World; Spirituality, Materiality and the Body; Wesleyan Spirituality and Theology; Interfaith Relations from Theory to Encounter; The Mystery of Love; Mysticism East and West; Life in Liturgy: The Spiritual Traditions of the Christian East; Christianity and Ecology.

The MA is completed part-time over a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years. Students at Sarum College usually complete the degree within three years (two years for the taught part and a further year for the dissertation).

This taught Masters allows students to gain advanced theological knowledge of central Christian doctrines. The Diploma is available for those who complete the teaching modules without the dissertation.
