Biotechnology is the exploitation of organisms and biological processes with a clear capacity for transforming production and, therefore, the economy in areas such as human health and the pharmaceutical industry, food production, marine resources, industrial sectors, such as chemistry and energy, and the environment.

The Specialization in Ergonomics at ECR has a focus on ergonomics of the activity, which tends to understand and study work and man in the labor field, analyzing their activities and involving them not only as a performer but also as a builder and transformer of work. The curricular structure and scheduling of sessions allow teachers and students from different cities in Latin America and Colombia to join this Specialization, as has been presented during the historical tour of the program.

The Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) curriculum at Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy prepares professional student pharmacists to enter the pharmacy profession with the knowledge, skills, and experience expected of highly-trained health care professionals.

The Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy has partnered with the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville to provide professional student pharmacists with an opportunity to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) while working towards a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
