At CESO we have spent 37 years with the only Master's program in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics in Mexico and Latin America. We are the only institution that offers its residents more than 80 cases per student in their training, as required for all postgraduates in the world by the World Federation of Orthodontics (WFO). The program lasts 27 months in which 1,500 hours of theory and 3,000 hours of clinical and laboratory practice are studied, giving a total of 4,500 hours of training supervised by the best-qualified teaching staff. Residents can enrich their knowledge with a wide variety of clinical cases available at the institution. At the end of the program, the resident will have compulsorily finished with 80% of their cases, of which they will select 18 Board cases that will be presented to teachers and students with the parameters of excellence of the “American Board of Orthodontics”. He will also have published two scientific articles and an individual research thesis according to the guidelines required by the Secretary of Public Education of the Mexican government.

The orthodontist graduated from this institution must have basic knowledge about growth and pre and postnatal development; possess knowledge and ability for radiographic interpretation, know the tissues in which it works; the ability to manufacture and place orthodontic appliances, knowledge of the functions of the different orthodontic appliances, instruments and materials, and the functioning of the stomatognathic system in order to identify any anomaly. You must also have sufficient skill and knowledge to perform an adequate orthodontic diagnosis, to be able to forge real and adequate objectives depending on the needs of each particular case, to be able to assume the final result of the treatment. In short, the graduate will be able to perform all kinds of orthodontic and maxillofacial orthopedic treatment. In addition, they will be able to analyze the scientific and social problems in their area and thus propose research protocols, as well as investigate the frequency, distribution, and characteristics of malocclusion problems in the population to plan programs that reduce the rate of malocclusion.

General objective of the study plan: The specialty in Endodontics is an advanced and updated program of academic information and clinical training, in which the etiology of pulp disorders will be resolved. During four semesters, the student has the opportunity to train and acquire clinical skills from the simple to the complex, while preparing theoretically in conservative and sophisticated methods, permanently seeking to combat pain and seek the well-being of the patient through the preservation of their organs. dental.

objective The specialized student will achieve that with the prevention methods, the community acquires hygiene habits that preserve oral health, and through the restoration and replacement of dental pieces obtain aesthetic dentures.

objective The student will learn to detect and evaluate pulp alternatives, through timely diagnosis for endodontic treatment, whether conventional or surgical.
