The MPhil in Environmental Studies at City University of Hong Kong is a research-based postgraduate degree that prepares students to tackle some of the most urgent environmental challenges of our time. Hosted by the School of Energy and Environment, the programme centres on fundamental and applied research in areas critical to environmental sustainability, including air and water pollution control and management, climate change modelling, mitigation and adaptation, and waste–to–energy and resource recovery. This multidisciplinary focus allows students to explore complex environmental systems and issues both locally and globally, drawing on expertise from atmospheric science, environmental chemistry, water quality science, and resource management.
