“Global Legal Studies” (GLS) is a programme aimed at blending Italian excellence in legal education – it began in Bologna in 11th century – with a modern, multicultural and multilinguistic approach. The programme is bilingual (Italian / English). Students who graduate receive a Master’s Degree [Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza: LMG/01]. The following guide-lines are mainly applicable to students who live in Italy and intend to follow the entire 5-year program. Traditional Law Degree (Laurea in Giurisprudenza), including all the skills required for legal professions in Italy and an International curriculum made of 19 courses entirely taught in English (around 150 credits): 15 of them are mandatory courses, and 4 are left to the free choice of the students. All the courses are taught in English except for the three of them named in Italian, which are courses taught in Italian but especially addressed to GLS students.

Master's in European Legal Studies offers a broad education in a wide range of subjects related to European and international law, including the protection of fundamental rights in the framework of multilevel constitutionalism, substantive EU law, comparative and global administrative law, and more.

This European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) programme offers the unique opportunity for interdisciplinary studies of law and economics at two or even three European and Non-European universities. There will be a joint LL.M. degree awarded from the Universities in Hamburg, Ghent and Rotterdam and all other partner universities will award an additional Master degree (LL.M. / M.A. / M.Sc.).

The Programme is designed for university graduates and professionals eager to specialise in international trade law within the context of global business transactions. It offers an in-depth exploration of key international institutional and legal frameworks, such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), along with essential aspects of investment law.

The Master's Degree in Law aims to provide in-depth and detailed training, both systematic and methodological, in the field of legal institutions, taking into account their national and international dimension and within a broad interdisciplinary cultural horizon.

The online Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Cybercrime, Cybersecurity and International Law aims at training participants in international law and applied practices to investigate and combat malicious cyber activities, as well as at providing them with in-depth knowledge of existing cybercrime prevention strategies at various levels, with a focus on the international dimensions of cybercrime and cybersecurity.

The Master's Course in Business Law for the Fashion System aims at training highly qualified professional profiles able to manage the juridical, economic and technological dynamics related to the fashion and textile system.

The SUN Department of Law, from the academic year 2016/2017, has activated a new integrated study course with the Luigj Gurakuqi State University of Shkoder (Albania). The course offers students the opportunity to obtain a double degree, that is a double degree in law.

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Crime and Justice is designed for professionals and university graduates wishing to specialize in the fields of international law dimensions of peace and conflicts, transnational crimes and transitional justice, humanitarian law, international criminal law and procedure, and international human rights law.

Starting from the 2016/2017 academic year, the SUN Department of Law offers its students a new opportunity for internationalization, in addition to traditional exchange programs. Students will be able to attend a new study program developed jointly at the University of Murcia (Spain) which will allow them to spend three semesters at the foreign university and to obtain, at the end of the course, a double degree, i.e. a double degree. .

The LLM Programme in Comparative, European and International Laws of the European University Institute (EUI) is a one-year programme.
