Welcome to the Master of European Technology Law, an inter-disciplinary programme that provides lawyers with technical knowledge to facilitate innovation while at the same time giving tech engineers the tools to understand legal compliance issues. The Faculty of Law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin offers a LL.M. (Master of Laws) programme that provides a comprehensive understanding of German and European law, enriched with a global perspective. The programme combines a strong foundational curriculum with opportunities for specialised study, preparing graduates to navigate the complexities of legal systems in an interconnected world.

The one-year Bucerius Master of Law and Business prepares young professionals for international careers in which an understanding of both legal and business concepts as well as intercultural skills are essential. This European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) programme offers the unique opportunity for interdisciplinary studies of law and economics at two or even three European and Non-European universities. There will be a joint LL.M. degree awarded from the Universities in Hamburg, Ghent and Rotterdam and all other partner universities will award an additional Master degree (LL.M. / M.A. / M.Sc.).

The master’s degree in business law with international aspects is designed for students who already have a first academic degree.

The program builds upon the foundation of a successfully completed degree in law from a university abroad. The LL.M. in European and Transnational Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (LIPIT) is a postgraduate program directed at providing an in-depth understanding of legal issues arising from the creation and use of literary or artistic works, mechanical or scientific inventions, digital information, and other intangible assets.
