LLM International Commercial Law: If you undertake a master's degree at UCD Sutherland School of Law you will be studying at one of the Top 100 Law Schools in the World. The course is designed to immerse the student in more detailed aspects of commercial law, as well as developing broadly applicable legal research and other transferable skills. The emphasis is on those areas of law, such as credit and security, intellectual property and competition law, which are critical to the operation of any commercial enterprise in the modern world. The program also takes account of the increasing internationalisation of commerce with modules in global competition law and international trade organisations.

The programme will be particularly attractive to law graduates who wish to develop a specialisation in commercial law, and especially an ability to understand and apply commercial law in multi-jurisdictional scenarios.

The LLM (General) is one of a suite of LLM programmes offered by the School of Law at NUI Galway. This LLM can be taken on a full-time basis over one year or part-time over two years. It is a taught programme designed to give students complete flexibility in their selection of modules and topic for their minor thesis.
