As a student of Leeds Law School, you will be able to access a wide range of law textbooks online for free through Law Trove, a subscription-only service offered by Oxford University Press.

The LLB (Hons) Law with Foundation Year is a 4-year law degree. It is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the legal or wider commercial sector. The LLB has a practical focus on employability integrated into the course. There is a high level of face-to-face tuition. The law modules are delivered predominantly by professionally qualified lawyers. Students will study the key legal topics and related skills that are critical for the modern law student but also have a choice of options. The course is delivered over two semesters per academic year.

The MLaw four-year Integrated Master is for you if you already know that you wish to qualify as a solicitor. During the first three years, you'll study our LLB modules, while year four is designed to prepare you with the necessary skills and knowledge to take the new Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE1 and SQE2). On completion of this course, you would then just need to fulfil the Qualifying Work Experience requirements of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to qualify as a solicitor. Our modules include Contract Law, Criminal Law, Business Law, Civil Dispute Resolution, etc..
