This master's track focuses on psychological contributions to both forensic and legal contexts. This program will give you insight into why people misbehave and commit crimes, what the concept of criminal irresponsibility is, and how forensic patients need to be treated. Besides these typical forensic topics, the program offers insight into legal psychological topics such as deception detection and legal decision-making.

This course aims to remedy that difficulty. Using the Netherlands as a case study, it provides historical context and concrete examples of how ‘race’ has functioned as a legal concept throughout history and how laws regulating race have adapted to the postcolonial, some say even post-racial world.

Progress in society depends on the innovation of processes and products. But how does law react to such innovation processes and products, such as data-driven challenges in artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and autonomous vehicles? Our LLM programme in Technology Law and Innovation focuses on the interaction between technology law and innovation. It explores the role of technology law as an enabler of innovation and reflects on examples where law hinders innovation.
