Our online SQE1 Exam Preparation Course is a short, intensive revision course to ensure you’re confident and fully prepared for the SQE1 assessments. This short course provides a comprehensive revision of all legal areas you have previously studied.

If you want to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales you will need to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) – the vocational stage of training that bridges the gap between academic studies and life in a law firm.

Our LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) course will offer you the best possible preparation to practise law. This course incorporates preparation for both SQE1 and SQE2, as well as additional content, called SQE Plus*, considered highly desirable by law firms, including key practice areas (KPAs) and further additional modules in the business of law or research of a specialist practice area. It is professionally-focused, and will equip you with the key legal knowledge and skills required to pass SQE and will prepare you for practice before your qualifying work experience (QWE).

The SQE2 component of this course will develop your legal skills in interviewing, advocacy, case and matter analysis, legal research, legal writing and legal drafting. This course will prepare you for the SRA’s centralised SQE2 assessments.

The LPC is the final stage of training to become a qualified solicitor. You study the LPC after successful completion of a qualifying law degree, or other recognised qualifications.

This course will help you acquire the basic legal knowledge and skills required to sit the SRA’s centralised SQE1 assessments, which test functioning legal knowledge (FLK) through two multiple choice assessments, each comprising 180 single best answer questions.

The Legal Practice Course (LPC) is a postgraduate legal qualification that is the final academic step for aspiring solicitors. Once successfully completed, you can go on to a training contract before fully qualifying as a solicitor.

The course is designed to develop the six legal skills necessary to pass SQE2 as well as revise the functioning legal knowledge you will already have acquired before embarking on SQE2. You’ll have flexibility to study online at your own pace (typically 10 hours per week) over thirty learning weeks. The course is principally asynchronous, but each learning unit is enhanced with a lecturer led timetabled live subject support session to support your learning throughout the course.

Our online SQE2 Exam Preparation Course is a short, intensive revision course to ensure you’re confident and fully prepared for the SQE2 assessments. It will give you the chance to practice the skills assessed for SQE2 and recap on key points before the assessment.

The LLB (Hons) Law and Legal Practice has a strong applied focus, that prepares you to practice law once you have graduated, and to qualify as a Barrister, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. You can gain hands-on clinical legal experience by volunteering in our Law Clinic.

On our 1-Year Top-Up programme, you enter the final year of the practice-based LLB (Hons) Law and Legal Practice, and study 4 x 30-credit Level 6 modules.

The accelerated LLB (Hons) Law and Legal Practice degree can be completed in just two years (rather than the standard 3 years). It has a strong applied focus, that prepares you to practice law once you have graduated, and to qualify as a Barrister, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. You can gain hands-on experience by volunteering in our Law Clinic. The accelerated degree is not available to international students. International students are eligible for the 3-year LLB.

Our new online LLM in Professional Legal Practice course will grow your academic legal knowledge and enhance your hands-on legal skills, while preparing you to sit the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), supporting you on your journey to becoming a solicitor. Using dedicated SQE exam preparation, the course is designed to prepare both law and non-law graduates for a successful career as a solicitor.
