Chinese Language & Culture Immersion in Taiwan is an intense program designed by the Language Center in NCU. The curriculum includes listening, speaking, reading and writing and we also offer some tutorial hours and field trips for the participants to get to know about Taiwan culture and be able to practice what they learn in the real world.

The Master of Arts (M.A.) program in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature leads to a post-baccalaureate degree designed for individuals who are interested in multimedia language teaching, Western cultures, and literature. The program’s curriculum is based on the synergy of theory and practice and is developed to help students become outstanding scholars and professionals in the fields of literature and language.

English language education has been one of the hallmarks of a Christ’s College education since the college was founded over fifty years ago. The English Major curriculum includes general English Major required courses as well as courses specifically designed for one of the English Major emphases: TESOL, International Business Studies, Christian Literature, and Applied English. Key Position of Translation-related Academic Research Through the international exchanges and the industry-academic cooperation, we consolidate the researches of translation theory by combining both the domestic and foreign sources and strengthen the applied researches such as building up the database of translation terminology. We also would like to extend our researches into leading the studies of translation.

The undergraduate program encompasses basic and advanced Language Training, Literary Studies, Linguistics, and Language Teaching. Students develop communication capabilities and professional aptitudes that will benefit their career goals.
