The Criminal Law curriculum at Marquette University Law School offers a rich diversity of classroom and internship experiences for students interested in the practice of criminal law. The classroom component of this curriculum begins with a series of core courses in Criminal Law, Criminal Process, and The Constitution and Criminal Investigation (a study of the law regulating arrest, search and seizure, interrogation, and the identification of suspects).

Students enrolled in the Criminal Law and Procedure Concentration will receive instruction and training in those subjects and skills that are fundamental to the real-world practice of criminal law.

The Foreign Lawyer Program creates an opportunity for those who have earned a law degree abroad and practised law outside the United States to receive up to 28 advance standing credits, earning a J.D. degree upon completing 56 credits within two academic years.
