Upon successful completion of the study program students receive an international private Master in Communication Studies degree awarded by the school's main campus in Zurich, Switzerland, based on the recommendation of the faculty of the local campuses where credits were earned, and upon the recommendation of the school's Academic Council.

The MBA 1-Year Track is designed as a full-time, residential program, 12 months (three terms and a summer period) are required for completion of the degree. The previous study at other institutions does not reduce the 12-month residency requirement for the MBA degree.

While the structural changes of information society caused largely by the revolution of digital technology are rapidly going on, a phenomenon of media convergence is emerging in the various journalistic fields. The Graduate School of Journalism and Media is established to pursuit new principles of public interest as well as to build new theories of ethics of journalism and media in the midst of increasingly changing globalized community. Graduate school has two purposes to both educate students and train journalistic professionals. In order to accomplish these purposes, the two courses are placed in the graduate school where the faculty is composed of academics and resident journalists. The Graduate School contributes to improving the quality of journalism as a whole through education and training.

The Faculty offers a unique education designed to cultivate internationally competitive people through its Department of English Studies and Department of Global Liberal Arts. The Department of English Studies aims to help students develop the kind of English skills immediately useful to new working members of society by guiding them through their studies toward their future careers with the following three courses available from the second year of study: Language Studies, Business, and Education. The Department of Global Liberal Arts aims to help students systematically develop their interests into expertise by offering the following three courses of American Studies, Japan and Asian Studies, and European Studies, each of which also comprises three specialized research areas. The Faculty also offers practical learning opportunities through not only a rich variety of study abroad programs but also opportunities to conduct fieldwork internationally in six countries or regions across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. With the world becoming increasingly interrelated both socially and economically, the Faculty’s educational environment shines with significance as one characteristic of an international culture university, as stated in the Aichi University Prospectus as one of the University’s aims. Through the two areas of basic psychological research and research on media and information communication and communication involving humans, we aim to develop human resources with advanced knowledge and skills in psychological and communication science. As a common purpose of the entire field, it is effective to acquire a methodology that can objectively approach various problems of human society and to have the ability to perform scientific verification and communication based on easy-to-understand explanations and empirical data. The aim is to develop the ability to give presentations and convince them to carry out the required projects. In the field of psycho science, the training of aspiring researchers who have acquired a high level of understanding and research methods on human behavior and psychology, and in the field of communication science, various things related to "people, media, and society" that are becoming more diverse. We analyze problems scientifically and train human resources who can play an active role in a wide range of fields in the information media society that connects people to people and people to society.

This course looks at literature from Japan and around the world to provide students with a wide range of perspectives and explore the links between the internal and external (“environmental”) worlds of an artistic work through a multifaceted approach incorporating natural, human, and cultural environments in pursuit of the issues that transcend boundaries. Important components of the process include reading texts within the context of their contemporary societies, cultures, and norms; questioning media announcing their publication; and considering the relationships between texts and other genres, such as art, theater, and film.
