Study International Law Abroad
International law covers all of the rules, regulations, and laws that create the framework for how countries and nations interact with one another. It’s easy to imagine that with so many different countries, all with their own laws, it’s a challenge to come up with and uphold international law. However, the challenge is what draws talent from around the world to the field.
Considering the globalized world we live in today, international law has quickly become a field in which professionals can find work almost anywhere in the world. That makes studying international law abroad a great option for students who are looking to make the most of their education.
A study abroad experience provides students the ability to immerse in a new culture, learn a language, and make new friends. It also sets people apart when it comes time to graduate and students begin looking for their dream job. So, consider pursuing an international law degree abroad to get started on the adventure of a lifetime.

A typical day in the life of an international law student often revolves around lectures and seminars covering a broad range of law topics. Outside of class, students are expected to dedicate a good amount of time studying for upcoming exams. Some students may also choose to participate in an internship or shadow working lawyers to gain real-world experience.
Although challenging, there is still some free time to relax and experience student life, especially if you choose to study international law abroad. Imagine exploring Brussels or Amsterdam during breaks between classes, spending time getting to know your new international group of friends!

Prerequisites for a Degree in International Law
The best international law schools will often require that prospective students have demonstrated they have previously performed well in their classes, especially classes within English and history. Both undergraduate and graduate students will have to provide a copy of their academic transcripts, along with any standardized test results.
International students will also have to prove their English proficiency, as many international law degrees are conducted entirely in English. If the program requires another language, you may also have to prove you have proficiency in a second language. An essay will also most likely be required to complete your application.
