8 Interdisciplinary Studies Degree Programs

The bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary science offers a student the opportunity to design an individualized, multidisciplinary degree program with a solid foundation in the natural sciences. A distribution of upper-division electives may include courses in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.

The Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Business Studies (BSIBS) provides the opportunity for mature adult learners to individualize their college education by co-designing an individualized degree program that includes the study of two business or business-related disciplines. Working closely with an advisor from the College of Business Administration, students in the on-campus and online interdisciplinary business studies degree track form a program of study in two business or business-related fields that most effectively support his or her desired goals.

Bauhaus Summer School is the international summer programme of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Join us to learn German or attend one of our specialist courses in Architecture and Urbanism, Art and Design, or Engineering and Environment. Bauhaus Summer School is a good opportunity to improve your German language skills before enrolling in one of the Bachelor's or Master's programs.

The Master of Professional Studies is an online program with three concentrations designed to equip you with specialized, industry-specific skills that you can immediately use in the workplace.

The Master of Science in Administrative Studies is a cross-disciplinary program which features enhancement of administrative abilities with areas of emphasis in Applied Communication, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Environmental Management, Project Management, and Sports Management.

The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies accelerated online degree program at Charleston Southern University is recognized by US News & World Report as #39 for the Best Online Program in the nation (2023). By combining the maximum number of transfer credits from previous colleges and universities with a strong foundation in business management, students can complete their degree quickly with a concentration area that best suits them and their personal and career goals. The International Foundation Programme is a year-long academic course that is suitable for students who are, as yet, unable to meet the entry requirements for either our or other international undergraduate degree programmes. Successful completion of the International Foundation Programme will enable students to continue their studies within their chosen degree pathway. Key skills in communication, group and individual study, and business practice learned throughout the year will enable students to successfully apply for and complete a degree programme.
