After studying General English, you will be able to choose from a range of electives to take for two afternoons a week, to allow you to focus on the English skills that you most want to improve. These courses are for students who want to improve their English more quickly.

For 70 years, the Intensive English Program at the University of Miami (IEP) has immersed students in American culture while preparing them for academic success through quality English-language instruction. The IEP is accredited by the CEA - Commission on English Language Program Accreditation. The IEP is a member of the UCIEP, English USA and the Florida Consortium of IEPs.

The ELI offers a year-round, 5-level Intensive English Program for students from around the world. Improve your English and experience US culture and student life on a large, traditional university campus.

The Intensive English Program is an academic preparation course designed to help international students make the transition to American academic life in a relatively short time through full-time instruction in English as a second language. The program prepares students for the TOEFL® examination.

The 11-month Intensive English Language course is designed to provide non-native English students with English language skills, including advanced grammar and essential vocabulary. This course is helpful for learners to improve their existing skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It enables learners to communicate effectively in a variety of situations, such as the workplace or academic purposes, or international tours in an English-speaking country.

In our intensive English program, you can experience life in the US and study academic English to prepare for your university degree or future career. We offer high beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of instruction with 18-20 hours of class per week. You will share classes with students from all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South & Latin America, and the United States. We welcome all students, international and domestic.

The Intensive English Programme is designed to empower students to use English socially, for study and for work. A skills-based syllabus is employed where listening, speaking, reading and writing are equally weighed. There are twenty-one hours of classes spread over 10 (ten) weeks to ensure that learners benefit from the total hours allocated per term.

The Intensive English + LL.M. Pathway Program is designed to prepare students with or without any prior legal training to excel in their professional careers. Foreign-educated students in the LLM program are introduced to the U.S. legal system and provided the opportunity to specialize in their own area of academic or professional interest. U.S.-trained lawyers can also enhance their legal expertise to meet their professional and career goals in the LLM program.

The School for the Advancement of English Language and Learning (SAELL) is offered to international students to holistically build English proficiency to help them achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.

The English Language Program (ELP) at the University of North Florida (UNF) is designed to prepare students for university-level studies and other professional English-speaking environments. Founded in 1997, the ELP has helped thousands of students from over 70 countries and has provided enriching cultural experiences along with high-quality language instruction. Our dedicated staff and faculty offer personalized support, ensuring that every student's needs are met both during and after their time in the program. In a welcoming and supportive environment, students adjust to new cultural and academic experiences. By completing the ELP, students gain confidence that helps them excel in both academic and professional settings, paving the way for future success.

The Institute for International Studies (IIS) provides high-quality ESL instruction in Silicon Valley (IEP) since 1997. We also offer cross-cultural activities, and support services for international students to prepare for college or other personal and professional goals. The English Language Institute’s synchronous remote courses are available for individuals who want to study English to advance their careers both locally and globally. Our 12 or 14-week, accelerated courses range from levels 1 to 6 and offer a strong foundation in all language skills while providing students with lively, collaborative, and challenging language exercises and tasks.

The NESE curriculum is divided into 10 levels of intensive instruction. In each level, you attend classes every day from either 9:00 - 3:15 every day (the Intensive Program) or from 9:00-12:30 (the Semi-Intensive Program).

The English Language Learning (ELL) program is an intensive, five-semester, five-level, full-time program for students who speak English as a second language. This program can help build English Language skills for success in college, university, and a career. English Language Learning is available at both Progress Campus and the Eglinton Learning Site.
