Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multi-disciplinary full-time regular university under the direct guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Government, which focuses on engineering with additional disciplines in arts, management, science, and economics.

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a multi-disciplinary full-time regular university under the direct guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Government, which focuses on engineering with additional disciplines in arts, management, science, and economics. Founded in 1980, it was initially known as Hangzhou Industrial School Attached to Zhejiang University. Combining the successful school-running experience of German Universities of Applied Sciences(FH) with Chinese Characteristics, ZUST explores cultivating high-quality internationalized talents with innovative spirits and applied skills.

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology has two campuses. Xiaoheshan Campus is situated in the historical and cultural city—of Hangzhou, with a planned land area of 112.67 hectares and a built-up area of 450,000 square meters. Anji campus, situated in Anji county which won the United Nation Habitat Scroll of Honor Award, has a land area of 33.33 hectares and a built-up area of 165,000 square meters.

ZUST has two campuses.

Xiaoheshan Campus is located in the historical and cultural city of Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang Province, which is one of the most prosperous provinces in China. Situated at the foot of Xiaohe Mountain, it has a tranquil lake on its campus and is surrounded by hills.

Anji Campus is located in Anji County, which has won the United Nations Habitat Scroll of Honor Award.

At present, ZUST is running 16 English-taught undergraduate programs and 12 English-taught postgraduate programs. Moreover, ZUST provides a master’s degree program in International Chinese Language Education and a bachelor’s degree program in Business Chinese for Chinese language beginners. With the further development of international cooperation and the establishment of distinctive undergraduate and postgraduate majors, the number of international students is increasing significantly.

    1. Log on ZUST online application website.
    2. Fill in the application information, upload the scanned copies of relevant application documents, finish entrance exam and pay application fee CNY 400 .
    3. ZUST will review the application, which takes about 7~14 days to process.
    4. If you are accepted, you will receive an electronic Pre-Admission Letter and payment instructions.
    5. Pay the Pre-Paid Tuition fee (CNY 3000 for degree program applicants,CNY 1000 for non-degree program) to confirm their registration, and send the payment proof to internationaloffice@126.com. It takes about 2-3 weeks for ZUST to process electronic JW202/ DQ form.
    6. Download the electronic Visa Application Form (JW202) or Short-term International Student’s Information Form (DQ) and receive Official Admission Letter.
    7. Apply for Study Visa at the Chinese Embassy. (X1 or X2)
      Register at ZUST.

    Application deadline: July 30 for the fall semester and January 20 for the spring semester.
