Within the Zeppelin Universität CCM program the emphases are on the digital revolution, new media and its production, the shifts in artistic and cultural practices and emerging developments in the organization of communication and cultural processes. The program provides the means to be active and critically-engaged in the contemporary cultural sector, in media and communications and to initiate research in these areas, developing the capacity to think conceptually and supporting reflective approaches in understanding contemporary models, practices and means of distribution.

The study program focuses on a theoretical reflection on society to understand processes and to develop a profound awareness of social, artistic, media and political structures. At the same time the students have the opportunity to intervene in these processes through practice-led approaches.

Within CCM the aim is to analyze complex subjects and ideas in a contextual and a problem-directed manner.
