Master in International Business

The International Business School is a teaching institution that undertakes Sino-foreign cooperative education programs of Yunnan Finance & Economics University. It is approved by the Academic Degree Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Education of China, and Yunnan Provincial Department of Education to cooperate with Keuka College (USA), Charles Sturt University (Australia), and Napier University (UK) to carry out undergraduate dual-degree education projects; and to carry out graduate education programs by cooperating with the University of Greenwich in the UK.

At present, there are about 2,600 enrolled students, including about 2,000 undergraduates and 600 postgraduates. The School of International Business now has 50 full-time teachers, including 26 doctors and doctoral candidates, accounting for 50% of total teachers. There are 37 teachers who have an overseas education background, accounting for more than 70% of all full-time teachers. The foreign cooperative college has assigned about 60 teachers. The teaching staff has a reasonable knowledge structure, good work ethics, and has passion and creation, and is efficient and professional.

Following the guiding concept of “to run the school according to laws, to innovate management, to improve quality, and to highlight features”, the School is aiming at fully improving talent training quality, widely bringing in foreign quality education resources, continuously innovating talent cultivation mode, trying to create a good atmosphere, and perfecting schooling and quality monitoring system. It continues to improve teaching, science, management, and service, and to extend and expand international cooperative education. During the learning period, the students can study in foreign universities by exchange if they meet the corresponding conditions. And the undergraduate who graduates with excellent marks can be directly admitted to master degree programs of the foreign partners. The 4-year international education cultivates professional quality, improves the capability to use English, and broadens international view. The employment rate of such graduates ranks top in the University.
