Under the College of Business Administration, Al Yamamah University’s Department of Law offers LLB degree program, leading to a qualifying law degree for academic and professional purposes. The program is designed to ensure that graduates acquire both the legal knowledge and skills required to apply the law in practice. it equips students with essential professional capabilities and introduction to the legal work environment. Upon their completion of the common core curriculum, students choose to follow one of two major specialties:

Public Law

The branch of law that governs the relationship between individuals, whether persons or corporate entities and the government and those relationships between individuals which are of direct concern to society. Some examples include constitutional law, administrative law, and criminal law.

Private Law

The branch of law that pertains to relationships between individuals or private relationship between individuals and companies, rather than their relationship with the government. Examples include contract law, the law of obligations, property law and family law.
