Introduction
Education Program Aims
The program aims is to:
- Provide students with knowledge of various management issues.
- Provide practical professional skills, necessary for the choice, development, and implementation of management systems.
- Provide analytical, assessing, modeling, and other important abilities, that can be used during a graduate's professional career, and also solving various managerial problems.
Learning Outcomes
According to the program aims the students will have the following learning outcomes:
Professional knowledge and awareness
At the end of the program the student will be able:
- To describe the economic phenomena and processes emerging in the fields of production, distribution, exchange, and consumption, and explain their evolution over time;
- To introduce the basic business-to-business feasibility approaches, up-to-date resource planning, and modern technologies;
- To present existing approaches to accounting, analyzing and forecasting the results of the organizations' activities;
- To identify issues, related to the organization's strategy development, implementation, and various aspects of management;
- To present the peculiarities of different sectors of the economy and their management, as well as the existing regulations and approaches of public administration and local self-government;
- To present the most widely used directions of modern probabilistic, optimization, statistical, econometric and other methods;
- To present the most widely used specialized computer programs, as well as the main directions of their application for economic analysis;
- To interpret basic concepts of micro- and macroeconomics, problems of global and local markets, discuss their implications.
Practical professional skills
At the end of the program the student will be able to:
- To make feasibility studies for business and submit various reports;
- To evaluate the economic efficiency of the organization's activities;
- To design and participate in the implementation of various business plans by organizing the work effectively as a group member and as a group leader;
- To choose a variety of strategies, tools, through professional analysis and calculations to enhance the effectiveness of managerial decisions made;
- To use relevant computer packages to solve various professional problems;
- To design an effective management system for the organization, enhancing the efficiency of all resources management;
- To identify the peculiarities and management mechanisms of individual sectors of the economy as well as of the whole economy.

Application Process and Necessary Documents
The application process is carried out in accordance with the admission rules of the Yerevan State University's Bachelorโs and Master's degree programs.
Foreign citizens applying for admission at Yerevan State University (YSU) should provide:

- A CV in English, Armenian or Russian
- 2 certified copies of passport (confirmed by Armenian Embassy or Armenian consulate representative. Citizens from CIS countries can provide only notarized translations). The first copy is for Yerevan State University, the second copy is necessary for a student residence permit.
- Copy of previous academic certificates (diplomas) and transcripts (confirmed by Armenian Embassy or Armenian consulate representative. Citizens from CIS countries can provide only notarized translations).
- Notarized and verified copy of the birth certificate, translated into Armenian.
- 2 original copies of the general health certificate (this certificate can be provided by any Armenian medical institution). The first copy is for Yerevan State University, the second copy is necessary for a student residence permit.

Important Dates
For BA and MA students, the period for passing documents is from the 1st of June to the 15th of August. The lessons begin on the 1st of September.
For BA and MA students by correspondence, the period for passing documents is from the 1st of June to 10 of October.
For the Preparatory courses of foreign students, the admission of documents is from 1st of June to the 1st of October. The lessons begin on the 1st of October.
Tuition Fee
1.300.000 AMD (about 2730 USD according to the current exchange rate of Central Bank of Armenia) per academic year.
Armenian Visa
Information about obtaining Armenian visa is provided at the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia ( https://www.mfa.am/en/visa/ ). Upon arrival to Armenia necessary information and assistance for a residence permit will be provided by the Foreign Studentsโ Department of Yerevan State University.
Accommodation
Accommodation can be provided at Yerevan State University dormitory after signing an agreement with YSU. Prices of dormitory:
- 1 single room for 1 person-55.000 AMD (about 115 USD),
- 1 single room for 2 people โ 45.000 AMD (about 94 USD),
- 2 rooms for 3 people โ 40.000 AMD (about 84 USD),
- 2 rooms for 4 people โ 35.000 AMD (about 73 USD).
The rooms have bedrooms. The kitchen is general for each floor.
Students can also hire apartments in Yerevan by themselves.
Scholarships
Scholarships are not intended for the following academic year.
