Overview

Yasar University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Business Administration Doctoral Program is designed to develop a research culture, and workable management approach in national and also international level by conveying modern management practices and theoretical approaches in the business world where the competition is growing rapidly.

Unlike other scientific fields, a business doctoral program is aimed at students equipped not only for an academic career but also for being a top-level manager in private sectors.

One of the main priorities of the program is by synthesizing scientific knowledge and research culture to be able to require knowledge that will contribute to the development of management science at national and international level. For this reason, our students are expected to internalize a systematic discipline, ethical approach and, a culture of creative thinking that makes it possible to produce scientific knowledge and culture, and adopt this culture in their careers, as researchers or practitioners, as a philosophy of life.

Department of Business Administration is in an active co-operation with Europe’s leading 50 universities, and each doctoral student can take courses at least one maximum two academic terms and conduct research in these universities.
