Artificial Intelligence---AI (Artificial Intelligence) is from the perspective of computer application systems, which mainly studies how to design and manufacture intelligent machines or intelligent systems that can simulate human intelligent activities. It is a comprehensive discipline integrating computer, cybernetics, information theory, neurophysiology, psychology, linguistics and other disciplines. It is a new technological science that studies and develops theories, methods, technologies and application systems used to simulate, extend and expand human intelligence. It attempts to understand the essence of intelligence and produce a new intelligent machine that can react in a similar way to human intelligence. Research in this field includes robotics, language recognition, image recognition, natural language processing, and expert systems. At present, artificial intelligence has become the core driving force of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, and it is having an extremely profound impact on the world economy, social progress, and human activities. The artificial intelligence major of our school has been recruiting undergraduates from all over the country since 2019. It will be guided by national strategy and serve economic and social development as its mission. It will actively promote interdisciplinary integration, integration of production and education, and integration of military and civilians, and provide strong intellectual support and talent guarantee for the development of artificial intelligence and the country’s comprehensive revitalization and development. Economic and social development has made new and greater contributions.

In order to respond to the actual demand for artificial intelligence talents in my country, centering on the specific connotation of artificial intelligence, training professionals in basic artificial intelligence research, applied research, and technological innovation in interdisciplinary fields. To enable them to master solid mathematical theories, interdisciplinary basic knowledge of natural sciences and basic theories of intelligent science; have good foreign language skills, rich professional practical skills, independent discovery, analysis and problem-solving capabilities; have an international perspective and The ability to track the development of the frontier field of artificial intelligence; have a good human science literacy, social responsibility and engineering professional ethics; have the ability to innovate at the source and the ability to solve key complex engineering problems to meet the needs of intelligent construction and development in all walks of life in the country, Promote technological innovation and lead social development.
