Introduction

Our BSN Nursing program allows students to earn a three year accelerated Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing at our Caribbean medical school.

The BSN program of nursing complements the Caribbean medical school and helps meet the local, regional, and global need for highly trained, compassionate nurses. In addition to alleviating a critical nursing shortage, graduates of Xavier's BSN program are also able to use their education to achieve leadership roles in providing and improving healthcare through effective communication.

The BSN program integrates a minimum of 58 semester hours of liberal arts educational programming that includes natural sciences and mathematics, communications, socio-behavioral science, and humanities. The mission of XUSOM's School of Nursing is to prepare baccalaureate-educated registered nurses (RN) who will then provide compassionate services, delivering the highest standard of safe nursing care to individuals, families, and communities.

You will learn this at one of the best Caribbean medical schools in the world.
