Special education - Rehabilitation with sociotherapy

The studies are focused on solving practical problems, social research, implementation of preventive programs and projects, shaping social and personality competences, self-defense skills, acquiring extensive knowledge in the field of law, social sciences, humanities and security. A graduate of this specialization is qualified to work with socially maladjusted or socially endangered children and youth.

The aim of the studies is to prepare professionals to work in social rehabilitation centers, e.g. in youth educational centers, day support centers, intervention centers, social welfare centers, probation centers, institutions and organizations acting to counteract crime and social pathology, as well as in institutions reporting to the Ministry of Justice and internal affairs. They also qualify for the position of an educator in all sociotherapeutic centers subordinate to the ministry of education.
