Introduction

Business careers are among the fastest-growing and in-demand of all occupations because every industry needs business professionals. The Business & Finance, A Level Professional Honours Programme, will help you to understand the nature and scope of business and financial functions and the economic environment in which they exist. The world of business and finance offers great career opportunities for those aspiring to work in a fast-paced, high pressured environment.

You will study A Levels suite, including; Business, Economics, Maths, plus a further AS Level in Year 1. You will also benefit from the Professional Development Day, which includes: Extended Project Qualification, a work placement, professional qualifications, charity work, optional group sessions, including the Debating Society and the iDEA online program to develop digital skills.

For entry, you need a minimum of 8 GCSEs graded 9 - 5, of which a minimum of 4 GCSEs graded 9 - 6 (including English, Maths, and Science).

Successful students may secure a place at a Russell Group University studying business and finance-related degrees. There are many career prospects, and trained accountants can expect to earn over Β£45k a year. Other careers include Accounting Technician, Human Resources Manager, Business Analyst, Investment Banker, Project Manager, Financial Analyst, Management Consultant, Credit Controller, Recruitment Consultant, Training Manager, and Auditor.
