Webster University carries full institutional accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Students at Webster University Geneva, therefore, earn the same degree that is awarded in the United States.
In addition, our Business and Management programs offered by the Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University Geneva are accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs).
Graduates of the management and leadership program will be able to:
- Demonstrate proficiency with group dynamics, collaboration, interpersonal relations, and leading individuals, teams, and organizations.
- Analyze and organize proficient solutions for complex business problems and demonstrate logical reasoning and idea generation for making effective business decisions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the functional areas of business, such as finance, accounting, marketing operations, and human resources, as well as the capacity to synthesize and apply this functional knowledge.
- Construct solutions to management problems using facts, concepts, principles and analytical techniques, quantitative skills, and theories used in the study of management.
The 36 credit hours required for the master of arts (MA) in management and leadership must include the following courses:

Students pursuing dual majors who have the requisite course(s) waived will complete only the remaining required courses for the dual majors.

Management and leadership has 12 hours of elective credit. Students can customize this generalist degree by using these hours to capture an emphasis. Students completing an emphasis in project management may qualify for a graduate certificate in project management, where the certificate is available. To gain the certificate, students must pay a second graduation fee.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Webster University Geneva offers both academic scholarships and/or financial aid grants. Generally, priority is given to those who will commit to studying at the rate of two courses per term (the equivalent of 12 credits per semester).
Typical awards reduce the invoiced amounts by about 15% to 30%, with some individual award offers as high as 50% of tuition fees. According to University guidelines, combinations of academic scholarships and financial aid grants offered by Webster University Geneva may not exceed 50% of tuition costs.
Awards that are offered are renewable, provided the student maintains good academic standing and continued enrollment in their studies.
Requesting Financial Aid from Webster in Geneva
The Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee only reviews applications after individuals earn an offer of admission. We recommend that you submit your financial aid form and supporting documents by April 1 if you plan to relocate to Geneva for the start of the Fall semester. For other start dates, awards are granted on a rolling basis, typically one term in advance of the intended start date.
