The Wartburg biochemistry program has grown steadily since its inception fifteen years ago, with over seventy-five students having graduated with degrees in biochemistry within the last ten years. Approximately 40% of those graduates were accepted into medical school within a year of graduation (94 percent acceptance rate), while 20% matriculated into Ph.D. programs throughout the county (100 percent acceptance rate).
