Introduction

As a student at Theater and Drama in Volda, you get a solid and versatile education in a performing and very active professional environment. We offer a unique combination of practical puppet training and a theoretical-academic education that will give you a good basis for further work as a performing artist within the free cultural life.

We have our own theater room with blackbox and whitebox, costume and scenography warehouse, own sound studio and workshop. The program gives you broad experience and knowledge of theater and drama. It is a goal that students should be trained as independent and creative practitioners and develop their own personal expression.
