MUSIC PRODUCTION
The Music Production program is designed to prepare audio engineers and producers for vocational readiness from a Christian perspective. The program is designed to introduce the student to the tools and techniques used to produce music in the modern recording studio, while nurturing the student’s passion to serve the church or industry with Christian character. The student will gain an in-depth knowledge of current technology, recording techniques and music production skills. Music Production students will be responsible for engineering all student recordings and handling live sound at any events for Visible Music College. Skills and knowledge acquired in the program equip students to work as producers, engineers, or to create a new studio business, and focuses on using industry-standard programs (Logic and ProTools).
Upon graduation, the student will:
- Be able to find gainful employment in studios, live sound venues, post-production facilities, production companies, broadcast media, or entrepreneurial endeavors;
- Be able to oversee and execute studio and live sound responsibilities with competence, professionalism, and humility;
- Have a thorough understanding of how the mechanics of sound apply to modern recording techniques and live sound reinforcement.
