Finance and Accounting at VIZJA University equips you with practical financial expertise and analytical thinking for modern business. Over three years, you’ll learn to interpret financial data, manage budgets, assess risk and make strategic decisions. The programme combines accounting, audit, banking and international finance with real-world case studies and teamwork.
Taught in English or Polish, it’s designed for students aiming for careers in finance, banking, consulting or entrepreneurship. Small-group classes and business-oriented projects help you connect knowledge with practice.
Study Paths
Accounting, Audit and Controlling
Completing this specialisation gives you the opportunity to learn about accounting services and to audit financial statements of domestic and foreign companies based on the International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards.
The aim of the specialisation is also to develop the ability to influence the effectiveness of enterprise management through planning economic events, their audit, control and management.
Banking and Insurance
The specialisation enables the acquisition of knowledge about the principles of operation and functioning of European financial institutions from the banking and insurance sectors.
It helps to understand the essence of tasks performed by modern banks and insurance companies. Prepares students for the analysis and assessment of market risk and the rational use of financial instruments.
Business Finance
Financial management is an extremely important area of management in any organisation. It includes such tasks as: shaping the optimal level and structure of assets, creating an investment strategy, controlling the financial situation and analysing the market and position of the company.
Virtually every decision made in the enterprise is reflected in finances, which is why it is a speciality that offers wide career opportunities.
International Finance
Studies in this specialisation shape the skills in the field of finance for the needs of international transactions and the creation and development of foreign ventures.
The emphasis is on the knowledge of globalisation, financial and monetary systems, EU funds and the field of contemporary international economic relations.

Scholarship
The scholarship may be awarded to any student who obtained an average grade not lower than 4.8 in an academic year.
In the academic year 2023/2024, VIZJA University awarded 800 Rector’s Scholarships, ranging from PLN 400 /month to PLN 1000 /month, depending on the average or achievements. For outstanding sport, artistic or scientific achievements, the Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of PLN 600 /month.

Sports Scholarship
A sports scholarship may be awarded to a student who excels in sports achievements at least national level. In addition, we also encourage our students to take part in additional support programs- eg, the National Academic Representation.
Young sportsmen can count on financial support in the amount of PLN 600 /month.

Special Scholarships for Disabled People
A scholarship for people with disabilities may be awarded to a student who has a disability certificate, a disability degree certificate, a ZUS certifying physician’s certificate, a disability group certificate or a certificate of permanent or long-term incapacity to work on a farm.
In the 2023/2024 academic year, depending on the degree of disability, 350 scholarships for people with disabilities were awarded, ranging from PLN 1700 /month to PLN 1900 /month.

The content of the study program may change as a result of efforts to improve the quality of education and adapt the teaching offer to the current challenges of the labour market. Each change is approved by the University Senate and introduced with the aim of preparing students for their future careers in the best possible way.

The first year of studies is dominated by courses which, regardless of the chosen field of study, will provide broad horizons of thinking and understanding of the concepts and basic issues in a given field of study. As a result, you will gain knowledge and skills that will help you find yourself in many different professions and prepare to undertake interdisciplinary projects, which is particularly important and valued on the labour market today. From the second semester, the courses introduce more and more detailed content specific to the selected field of study.
In the second year of studies, courses focused on a selected field of study are introduced to the curriculum. They allow you to deepen your knowledge and acquire the competencies necessary to understand and use knowledge in the field of finance and accounting in various spheres of economic activity.
In the third year of studies, you can choose courses in the field of accounting, auditing and controlling to gain specialist preparation in this field. In each semester, you can choose 4 out of 6 speciality courses.
